Dear fellow students
This essay is based on my internship and research made in 2nd grade at an International School in Shanghai. So here you get some insights about how they plan and structure their day at Shanghai Community International School.
Morning meetings that is standard element of the student’s day. It serves the purpose of setting the tone for respectful learning, motivating students to feel significant, creating empathy, encouraging collaboration and establishing a sense of togetherness between the students every morning.
The teaching and learning cycle set the framework for how the students gain knowledge about lab report writing. Through small experiments, creative activities about language features and research about simple machines the students gain knowledge that can support their writing process.
